A brief view on religion and or beliefs

I was recently in a discussion , which most of us try to avoid with others , on religion , its in my belief all man are flawed and that we should love and accept one another whether we believe in a god or not , but others don't seem to share this view , some on the religious side would like to voice their belief until you yourself share the same view , others on the opposing side would take it somewhat personal that you do believe in a god and not share their view of non belief .   To all those i say , what harm does it do to you if someone believes in god , or doesn't believe in god, My belief is that we should continue to share our ideas , not force them and learn together one way or the other and be happy that we all share an existence together, I try to be open minded and try to understand what another person views on life but i see more and more that people find it a personal crusade to make sure everyone shares their view , Not one man knows what another has endured nor will he endure the same , that's a quote of my own i used for years.

I hope that one day we will accept one another for what we are and that it isn't important what we believe but that we do believe in something and are always trying to perfect that belief not for others or the religions sake but just to better understand ourselves and others , after all were in this together whether we like it or not, why not make it useful and use this life together and use it in peace , or at least try for our own sake.
