there are many holidays already but there are some that have faded away , even some that i cant remember , well one comes to mind , evacuation day , it was durring the revolutionary war and im not versed exactly on what it pertains to but from what i gather , all the patriots during the war were locked away on boats , but these boats were on dry dock , in other words ships on land , anyway , these men were crammed in a dirty old ship for months and years and all because they would not declare their loyalty to the crown , i learned most of this from the daily show , it was an eye opener , lincoln made thanksgiving what it is , but before that was evacuation day , if anyone out there has more information about these men who went through terrible times for our freedom please comment and for those who didnt know , maybe you should go research this , in fact , that's what im going to do right now ...................
